Michael Edward Massafra Sr.

Michael Edward Massafra, Sr., 74, of Coatesville, PA passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026 at his home, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 53 years to Sheryl Sue (nee Holm) Massafra. Born on October 28, 1951 in North Charleroi, PA he was the son of the late Norma (nee Ruffing) Massafra and the late Cosimo Massafra.

Prior to his retirement, he had been employed for 43 years in a Sales Management capacity in the food service sales industry. Michael was an avid reader who loved to read about many different topics, especially military history. He was also a former Disc Jockey for many years, and he really enjoyed listening to the music of the 1960's era. He liked building models of many different things, and he was also a jokester who loved making people laugh. Michael was also a former coach with the Spirit Youth Soccer Program, and he was also very active with the West Bradford Youth Association who served in many different capacities and positions for many years as well. What he enjoyed most of all however was spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Michael is also survived by his loving children; Michael D. Massafra (Laura), Randell M. Massafra (Netisha), and Justin Massafra (the late Stacey), and his cherished grandchildren; Anthony, Isabella, Sophia, and Gianna. Michael was also preceded in death by his sister, the late Cheryl Mitchell.

Michael's family will be having a celebration of his life gathering to be held at a later date, and which will be announced in the near future.
