Ronald Allan Oberne, age 66, of Coatesville, PA, passed away on January 23, 2026 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA. He was the beloved Husband of 45 years to Sharon (nee Brown) Oberne. Born on February 13, 1959 in Encino, California, he was the Son of the late Sarah (nee Friedman) Oberne and the late Lou Oberne.

Ronald was a decorated United States Navy Veteran, who proudly, faithfully, and honorably served his country for over twenty years before retiring in 2005 with the rank of FC1. He enjoyed helping his Brother Veterans in need, going for walks, and exploring new places. What he really enjoyed most of all however was spending time with his family, especially his cherished Grandsons; Luke and Noah.

In addition to his Wife, Ronald is also survived by his Children; Laura Chandler (Daric), Aaron Oberne, and Kelley Oberne (Bryan), as well as his Grandchildren, Luke and Noah Chandler.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Ronald's life on Saturday, February 14, 2026 to be held at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 1060 West Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, PA 19320. The family will receive friends from 10:00 -11:00 AM, followed by his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM, and will then be concluded by Military Funeral Honors rendered by The United States Navy.

The family has respectfully requested that all flowers be omitted, and that those desiring to do so may make a memorial contribution in Ronald's name and memory to The American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116, and which would be deeply appreciated by his family.
