Funeral services for Mr. Kerry Bernard Robinson, 55, of
Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 2:30 PM at the Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2418 Hwy 441 South in Dublin. Minister Kurtis Miller, of Hillbridge Road Church of Christ, will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.
Kerry Bernard Robinson was born on Monday, April 29, 1968, in Eloise, Michigan, to his parents, Martha Robinson and the late Robert Oliver. Kerry graduated from West Laurens High School in the Class of 1986, where he was a running back for the West Laurens Football Team. After high school, he joined the United States Army and served in the Gulf War. Mr. Robinson joined Shannon Church of Christ of Union City. He was employed with Friendly Gus as a maintenance worker. Kerry was the go-to person in the family when it came to cooking, cleaning, fixing, or putting things together. He never told anyone "no" when they asked him to do something for them. Kerry loved his entire family by making sure he told them, "I Love You".
Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charlie and Martha Robinson, paternal grandparents, Fulton Pete and Doreatha Oliver, and his father, Robert Oliver, aunts and uncles, Louise Evans, Leila Blackshear, Jacqueline Robinson-Rouse, Sylvia Robinson, and Sammy Robinson, cousins, Sherrell Robinson, Darrell Rouse, Kevin Blackshear, Kabretta Robinson, and Jordin Robinson.
Kerry leaves to cherish many loving memories, his devoted mother, Martha Robinson, and his daughters, Brittany Robinson of Dublin, and Kiera Robinson of McDonough, two grandsons, Jalen and Jamoris Parks, Dublin, three sisters, Jurea Robinson, Dublin, LaShaunya Rollins of Riverdale, and LaTonya (Terrence) Rozier, niece, Jonquil Robinson of Dublin, two brothers, Willie Pete (Heather) Oliver and Chris (Tammy) Oliver of Dublin, great-aunt,Mary Swann of
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, two uncles, Charles (Belinda) Robinson of Decatur, and Robert Evans, Jr., of
Newark, Ohio, aunts, Evelyn Bradley, Sandra Robinson, Mary Robinson, Carol Robinson, and Kay Robinson of Dublin, nephews, Andreakeas Watkins of
Birmingham, Alabama, Gerald (Charmaine) Watkins of Montgomery, Alabama, Lavadrick Turner of Riverdale, nieces, Lyntrell Robinson of Dublin, LaTravia Rozier of Dublin, Lyntoria Rozier of Dublin, great-nephews, Andreakeas Watkins, Jr., Mason Watkins, and Malachi Watkins, all of Montgomery, Alabama, and Legend Tobridge of Dublin, great-nieces, Maleah Watkins and Saniyah Williams, both of Montgomery, Alabama, Taraji King and London Stephens, both of Dublin, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including a devoted friend, Anthony Darrisaw, his "Chingu" is what he called him, who all loved him unconditionally.
