Kerry Allen Schmidt

Kerry Allen Schmidt, age 41, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away on December 11, 2025. He was born on November 18, 1984.
Kerry attended McLaurin High School and was known for his love of the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers-activities that brought him joy and time shared with family and friends. Kerry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and his love for his family was evident in all that he did.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Michael Schmidt; his brother, Jeremy Schmidt; his step-father, Michael Burnside; and his nephews, Kaylib Knight and Christopher Casaus.
Kerry is survived by his loving wife, Krystal Marlene Schmidt; his daughters, Haylei Schmidt, Mataya Schmidt, Laney Schmidt, and Nena Schmidt; and his grandchildren, Brynlee Jones, Blakelee Jones, and Samuel Rogers. He is also survived by his mother, Joyce Burnside; his grandfather, Bob Johnson; his brothers, Jason Schmidt and Wesley Schmidt; his sister, Michelle Schmidt; his niece, Anna Dickerson; and his nephew, Blaize Chatham, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Sebrell Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Rosemont Gardens Memorial Park.
