Kevin Bergan Obituary

The son of Carl and Georgia (Clock) Bergan, Kevin was born February 21, 1954, in Muncie. He was a member of the Wapahani High School Class of 1972. He married Teresa May on November 23, 1979, and she survives him.
Kevin was employed with Marsh Supermarkets for several years. In 1979, he went to work for Farm Bureau Coop and drove a petroleum route for them. He became owner of his own petroleum business and hauled out of Norrick Petroleum and later G&G Oil in Muncie. Kevin was in the petroleum industry for 44 years during which time he made many friends and enjoyed his customers' friendships.
Mr. Bergan was a member of Selma Lions Club for 36 years and a former member of the Delaware County Fair Board. Kevin enjoyed driving a school bus for Liberty-Perry School Corporation for over 30 years.
He loved his family, friends and his customers.
He is survived by his wife Teresa Bergan; son, Kristopher (Kathy) Bergan; grandchildren, Jacob, Jonathan, and Justin Turner; step daughter, Toni (Chris) Beal; grandchildren, Chloe, Ellie, Lucy, and Griffin Beal; brother, Dick (Judy) Bergan; two sisters, Sharon Larrabee and Barbara (Bill) Walburn; brother-in-law, Russ Combs; and many nieces and nephews.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia Combs; a brother, Michael Bergan; brother-in-law, Dick Larrabee; and a sister-in-law, Lynda Bergan Sutton.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Center Chapel Church, 900 W. Royerton Road, Muncie, with Pastors Damon Soper and Ron Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 10:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm, at Center Chapel Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Center Chapel Church, 900 W. Royerton Road, Muncie, IN 47303, or, Selma Lions Club, 9901 E. Jackson Street, Selma, IN 47383.
