Kevin Matthew Bogus, age 40 of Voorheesville NY, passed away on May 27, 2022 due to complications of COVID and underlying health conditions. Born and raised in Carmel, NY, Kevin was the son of Anthony and Mary Virginia Bogus. He was married to his loving wife Amy (Wyman) Bogus, and had two amazing children, Reagan and Grayson. Kevin is also survived by his Aunt Anne Luby, Aunt Cindy and Uncle John Girolamo, and several cousins. Kevin touched the lives of so many as a husband, father, son, teacher, friend and ninja coach.
Kevin will always be remembered for his charisma, perseverance, sense of humor, love of comic books and Avengers movies, along with his amazing ninja warrior skills. He was a dedicated teacher at Fort Plain Jr/Sr High School. He was passionate about physical fitness and loved working at the Albany Ninja Lab.
Calling hours will be on Saturday June 4th from Noon to
2 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Inc. (inside Cannon FH), 2020 Central Avenue, Colonie, NY 12205 with a service to follow right after at 2 PM. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the GoFundMe (https://gofund.me/9402cfb0) page to help support Kevin's wife and children and add to their college funds.
