Kevin Michael Borngesser, age 44, passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with brain cancer, on Monday, May 5, 2025 at home with loving family by his side. Born in Livonia, MI, son of Kenneth and Dianne (nee Gobbell) Borngesser, he was a lifelong resident of Flemington, NJ.
Kevin was a graduate of Hunterdon Central High School in Flemington, with the class of 1999. For many years, Kevin dedicated himself to his role as an IT manager at the Allen Group in Branchburg, NJ. A highly intelligent individual, he developed a fondness for computers from a young age. His deep affection for his family, particularly his beloved niece and nephews, was evident. Kevin took pleasure in tinkering and repairing items around the house, showcasing his practical skills. Many will recall Kevin as a model individual and an ideal man.
Kevin was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Alton and Matilda "Tillie" Borngesser; maternal grandfather, James A. Gobbell; and his brother, Kenneth Allen "Kenny" Borngesser in 2004.
Besides his loving parents, Kevin is survived by his dear sister, Kimberly and her husband Chris Webster; beloved maternal grandmother; Evelyn Gobbell; and cherished niece and nephews, Zoey, Cooper, and Hunter.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. and on Friday, May 9, from 10-11 a.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 9, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Committal words and interment will follow at Neshanic Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kevin's name to Hunderton Hospice, 2100 Westcott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822 or Hunterdon Home Health, 2100 Westcott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
