Kevin Brooks Obituary

Kevin was a huge sports fan and lover of the Chicago Blackhawks, Cubs, and Bears. He was a proud alumni of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the former John Marshall Law School (now UIC School of Law).
Kevin loved spending time with his family and friends. He treasured his summers spent in Fontana, WI on Geneva Lake with his cousins and on Fox Lake with his Lucca family. So many memories and laughs shared at the cottage. His proudest achievement was being a father to his children, Jack and Molly.
A special thanks to Kevin's medical team at RUSH for their outstanding care, unwavering support and compassion. And to Unity Hospice (Nurse Thanh) for his compassion and care in Kevin's final days.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Jack and Molly's college funds at ugift529.com would be greatly appreciated. Jack's (John) Ugift code is Z59-P4Y. Molly's (Mary) Ugift code is 79K-66U.
Visitation 4 to 8 on Sunday, March 23rd at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Chapel Prayers, 10:15 am from the funeral home to St. Francis Xavier Church, LaGrange for an 11am Funeral Mass on Monday, March 24th. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
