Kevin Carr

Kevin Demetrius Carr was born on November 24, 1959, in New Haven, Connecticut to the late Benjamin Carr Jr. and the late Cassie Mae Carr.
Kevin attended North Haven High School and continued to further his education at a prestigious culinary art school where he fell in love with cooking. He retired from Holiday Inn North Haven, Connecticut as Head Chef. Although retired, Kevin continued to cook for his loved ones, friends and family, and he will be remembered for many delicious meals created with so much love. Kevin was also known for his caring ways and outgoing sense of humor. His vibrant presence was truly one of a kind.
Kevin leaves to cherish in his memories his daughter, Natasha Armour of New Haven, sons Kevin Demetrius Armour Carr Jr. of West Haven CT, Daryl McFadden of New Haven, CT and brother, Dennis (Sheila) Carr of Hamden, CT. He leaves to cherish great memories of his beloved grandchildren whom he loved so much, Mekhi Jackson, Stevie Nicole NeSmith, Kevin Demetrius Armour, Cameron, Kayle and Keith Armour Jr. all of New Haven, CT. He also leaves aunts whom he loved dearly Denise McNeil and Geneva Walters, both of Hamden, CT. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory forever.
Kevin was predeceased by his wife Mary Louise Hyman Carr, his son Keith Armour, parents, Cassie and Benjamin Carr Jr, brothers, Clinton Roscoe Carr Boyce and Benny Carr, sisters Felicia Carr, and Carolyn Carr Baldwin, and grandparents Ben Carr Sr. and Mary Carr.
Kevin was also predeceased by Aunts and Uncles whom he loved dearly.
