Kevin M. Davis, age 64, of Springfield, Missouri, and formerly of Oak Ridge, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2025, at his residence.
He was born May 10, 1961, in Moberly, Missouri, to Lee M. and Emma “Jean” Lindsey Davis.
Kevin was a 1979 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. Throughout his life, he was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand. He held several positions in the construction field, including work with Paving Pros in Oak Ridge and more recently was employed by Select Brands in Springfield.
Kevin found great joy and fulfillment in the outdoors, and his true passion was realized while working with a wildlife outfitter’s company in Wyoming and Montana. His love of nature and adventure was evident to all who knew him.
Most recently, Kevin was living and working in Springfield. He had been a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge and had been attending The CORE Church in Branson.
He will be remembered for his kind spirit, hardworking nature, and deep love for his family, friends, and the outdoors.
Loving survivors include his siblings, Bonnie Davis of Cape Girardeau, Keith (Susan) Davis of Perryville, Missouri, Tracey Davis of Jackson, and Shane (Gayla) Davis of Patton, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Edie (the late Steven) Davis Sr. of Jackson; a step daughter Sunny Tucker; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Tracey Davis; his parents, and brothers Tommy and Steven Davis.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 8, 2025 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Jon Sedgwick at 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home followed by burial in Goshen Cemetery in Oak Ridge.
