Kevin Miles Farnes, 60, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 17, 2025, in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
Kevin was born in Montana and was raised in Montana and Washington, moving to Horseshoe Bend in 2001. He was a heavy equipment operator, licensed pilot and a talented handyman, so good at what he did that he was the “go to guy” if you needed something fixed. Kevin was kind spoken, warm-hearted, always with a smile on his face and a warm hug or firm handshake for everyone.
Kevin was of the Methodist faith and is survived by a large extended family, to include his partner of 20 years, his loving wife Kaye (Moser), his mother Jeannie Barkemeyer of Arizona, godparents Jim and Ruth Farnes, two brothers Scott (Laurie) and Randy (Amy) of Nevada, two sisters Rhonda and Josephine, stepdaughter, Alisha (Dave) and two granddaughters Gretchen and Kaylee Cherry.
The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to an anonymous friend who was there in our time of need, just as Kevin would have done.
Memorial services will be Saturday, November 1, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM at Doty Family Funeral & Memorial Service Chapel in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
