Kevin Scott Flanagan 62, of Rochester NH., loving son, brother, and uncle passed away on Thursday, October 30th after a brief illness.

Kevin was a graduate of Spaulding High School Class of 1981.. While at Spaulding, Kevin excelled in Baseball and played on the Allstar Teams. He was one hell of a ball player and second baseman..and as many would say..he was an all star in every sense. Kevin’s fondest memories of growing up in Rochester consisted of great times at the Bowl away Lanes with brothers Kirby and Shawn and winning multiple state doubles championships. Playing little league at the commons, Babe Ruth at Keay Field and Red Raiders Baseball. We all loved going down memory lane..we had the best get togethers as a family and we all appreciated it so much..our brother Shawn & Kev had a deep connection, Kev always looked up to him and it was so important to Kev what Shawn’s thoughts were on anything relating to Kev, it was a Beautiful thing. Kev would always say to me..that Shawn Kath, he really is something. Our brother Kirby was Kev’s Fryeburg Bro. They loved to go to the fairs & both loved to bet a few at the track..Kevin was always so Proud of his 4 nephews Kyle, Cory, Tommy & Matty and was so Proud to be an Uncle..Kev’s sense of humor was like no other..He would always make us laugh. He was my Best Friend, and I will miss him dearly, I already do!!!

Kev was employed for the past 10 years at Omni Metals in Somersworth as a shipping/receiving manager & Driver. He is remembered as a man who valued hard work and took such pride in everything he did and did it well! He is sorely missed by all, a huge void at Omni w/out him. Kevin assisted his father who ran bingo hall for over 40 years at the Donna Flanagan Bldg and his Mom ran the concession stand..Kevin would sell lucky 7 tickets to benefit local charities as did his brother Kirby..Kevin really hustled and was very good at selling, both of them were..Kev also took care of the hundreds of packages that had to be put together for the Bingo games..Kev did this that 3x’s a week at night after his regular job. Kev did this for 30 years..it really helped our Dad and Kev took such pride in doing it and did it well. Kevin’s infectious passion for music is unforgettable. His talent was mind blowing. When it came to playing the drums, guitar, piano, keyboard or just creating his own sound, would simply blow your mind..Kev had such a strong sense of rhythm, impeccable timing and exceptional coordination. In the past, he loved jamming with friends, Wed nights at Kev’s was jam night..it was so cool!!

Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Kirby and Donna, & brother Kirby, Jr. Kevin is survived by his brother Shawn, sister Kathy and her partner Garrett Stover. Nephews Kyle Flanagan, Cory Flanagan, Tommy Flanagan & Matty Flanagan.
