Kevin E. Griffith, 47, of Fort Loudon passed away unexpectedly on June 24, 2022, in Indiana.
Born Feb. 13, 1975, in Chambersburg, was the beloved son of Sara E. (Keefer) Griffith of Fayetteville and the late Dennis D. Griffith. Kevin graduated from Chambersburg High School in 1993 and attended the former VoTech School, where he studied diesel mechanics.
During his younger years, he worked at several local service and inspection stations. From 2008 until 2022 he was employed in the Paint Dept. at Letterkenny Army Depot. He then followed his dream, earning his CDL, and recently began employment with Dott Foods, Williamsport, MD as a truck driver.
Kevin enjoyed motor cycles, especially riding in the wind on his Harley and his side by side also brought him much enjoyment. In addition, ocean fishing, and skiing and snowmobiling were sports he loved.
He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Pleasant Hall.
Surviving with his mother, Sara, is her friend, Randy Hammond, Sr. of Willow Hill and his loyal and faithful dog, Daisy. Also surviving are his uncle, John Working of Emmettsburg, MD; uncle and aunt, Terry and Nancy Griffith of Berlin; aunt, Cindy Griffith, McConnellsburg and cousins, Tammy Lescalleet and her companion, Sam Tipple; Michael Working and his wife, Tammy; Michelle Shuey, and her husband, Mike; Mike Griffith, and his companion, Missy; Wendy Souders and her husband, Brian, and Jenny Christman and her husband, Kevin.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Oscar and Rhoda Keefer, paternal grandparents, Charles and Wilma Griffith, aunt Margaretta (Keefer) Working and uncle Donald Griffith.
Relatives and friends may greet the family Sat., July 9, 2022, between 10 - 12 Noon and are invited to attend his Memorial Service at Noon, in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, with Pastor Ruth Smith officiating. Interment private. Should friends desire, donations in his memory may be made to Salem Lutheran Church, PO Box 97, Pleasant Hall, PA 17246. www.agettlakjer.com
