Kevin Ellsworth Hall, 68, of Zephyrhills, Florida, formerly of Gaylord, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025. Born on June 7, 1957, in Flint, Michigan, Kevin lived a life centered around love for his family, devotion to his country, and a deep appreciation for the great outdoors.

A proud Navy veteran, Kevin served his country from 1973 to 1996 with honor and dedication. Following his military career, he enjoyed retirement surrounded by the people and pastimes he loved most. Whether hunting, fishing, camping, or doing anything that brought him closer to nature, Kevin found joy in the beauty of the outdoors. He also shared a special bond with his beloved Pomeranian, Baby Bear, who was his constant companion.

Kevin was a devoted husband to his late wife and high school sweetheart, Brenda Sue Hall, with whom he shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a loving family that was the center of Kevin's world.

He is survived by his children: Kevin Ellsworth Hall Jr. (preceded in death), Johnathon Ellsworth Hall and wife Paulette, Kelly Sue Hunt (Hall) and husband Blake, and Stephanie Marie Prout (Hall) and husband Aaron.

Kevin was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Tara Johnston (Hall), Ethan Hall, Haylee Hunt, Madyson Prout, Kendall Prout, Margaret Hall, and Lydia Hall. He is also survived by his brothers Patrick Hall and Michael Hall, and his sister Shelley Novaco (Hall).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Maurice Hall and Betty Jean Hall (Fraser), as well as his brother Christopher Hall.

Kevin will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, steady strength, and the way his smile could light up a room. His love for his family was immeasurable, and his presence brought warmth and comfort to all who knew him.

A celebration of Kevin's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions to be made in his honor to a veterans' charity of your choice.

Kevin's memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
