Kevin Hockenberry Obituary
Kevin enjoyed weekend getaways with his wife, spending time with his children, smoking meat for family gatherings and fostering puppies through Homeward Bound Animal Rescue. He was an equipment operator with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Kevin was born in Chambersburg, the son of William D. Hockenberry of Orrstown and the late Donna Lee (Myers) Hockenberry. He is survived by his wife, Nicole C. (Hanes) Hockenberry; children, Morgan P. Hockenberry of Chambersburg and Wyatt H. Hockenberry of Newburg; siblings, William L. Hockenberry of Orrstown, Jerry K. Hockenberry of Shippensburg, Ronald Hockenberry of Radcliff, KY, several nieces and nephews, extended family, and his 4-legged kids- Winchester, Oliver, Marshall, Peanut and Mini.
Above all, Kevin will be remembered most for being a hard-working family man and husband.
A celebration of life will be held in a few weeks.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests monetary contributions be made to a trust fund that will be established for both Morgan and Wyatt to help with future life events such as their weddings, birth of their children and first homes.
Bones, Treats and Toys are being collected for his doggies.
All monetary contributions and donations can be mailed/delivered to the family home- 437 Woodcrest Drive Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
