Cheryl Hockenberry, 71, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Mercy House of Chambersburg. She was born November 5, 1953, in Waynesboro, the daughter of the late Pauline and Robert Lenherr.
She was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School. Cheryl was employed at Letterkenny Army Depot. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, spending time with family, reading her Bible, and attending Spring Run Bible Church.
Cheryl is survived by her children: Shane Hockenberry (Melinda) and Tara Seibert (Tom); six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren with one on the way; sisters: Faye Carbaugh and Tina McCleaf; brothers: Don Lenherr, Dennis Lenherr, Bob Lenherr, and Max Lenherr; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Jean Ditzler, and brother, Richard Lenherr.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Sellers Funeral home with Pastor John Semple and Pastor Ryan Henderson officiating. There will be a time for visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations may be made to: Mercy House of Chambersburg, 730 Norland Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
