Marsha L. Wright

Marsha L. Wright, 73, of Red Lion, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 4, 2025 at her home.

Born April 10, 1952 in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth K. and Martha G. (Clever) Wright. She was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School and Headhunter's Academy for Cosmetology. While she retired from the Commonwealth of PA as a Management Analyst, she enjoyed bartending until she retired as well.

Marsha is survived by her son, Brenton M. Cox and wife, Christie, of Hahnville, LA; her daughter, Jaime L. Strange and husband Josh, of York, PA; five grandchildren, Meredith Mullen and husband Bradley, Elizabeth Seal and husband John, Shaeleigh Strange, Alexis Strange and Maxwell Strange; two great-grandchildren, Liam and Violet; and her brother, Kevin K. Wright of Upper Strasburg, PA.

Marsha was known for her spunk, sass and mischievousness. She found humor in the little things and brought energy and laughter to her work and home-life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and helping those who were less fortunate. She took pleasure in reading, cooking, several varieties of music, decorating, gardening, going to the beach and watching HGTV. She loved animals; especially her cats and new kittens (whether hers or strays).

A Memorial Service to celebrate Marsha's life will be held at Pleasureville Christian Church located at 2606 N. Sherman St. York, PA on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with a luncheon following the service. Pastor David Kominsky will officiate.
