Kenneth E. "Kenny" Fahnestock, 55, passed away on July 27, 2025, at the Chambersburg Hospital after a short battle with cancer. He was born November 12, 1969, to Martha and Lyester Fahnestock. Kenny and Lisa were married on September 29, 1990. He graduated from the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and also attended Franklin Co. Career and Technology center. He worked in many fields throughout his life. He loved landscaping, liked the challenges the machine shops brought and finally his dream job at Letterkenny Army Depot. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening, golf cart rides with the family to enjoy nature and sharing God's word with the homeless in Chambersburg. Kenny's love for God lead him to the Greencastle Church of God. Kenny is survived by his wife Lisa; his sister Barbara Oliver and her husband Travis; nephew Jack and wife Stacy; great nephew Bryar and great niece Jordie; his Uncle Jerry Fahnestock; cousin Paul and wife Jen; mother-in-law Carolyn Shuman; brother-in-law Chad Myers; sister-in-law Angie Myers; nephews: Cort and Galen; and neice Lanah. Also his two labs Smith and Wesson. Kenny loved life, was a jokester and will be sadly missed. A celebration of life service will be held at the Greencastle Church Of God at a later date.
