Kevin Jacobs Obituary
Kevin graduated from Gulfport High School in 1986 and attended college. He served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1989 to 1992 and then in the reserves from 2006 to 2008. After his tenure with the military Kevin was employed with Diversified Maintenance Company as a district manager. He relocated to Baton Rouge, LA, November 15, 2019. Kevin married, Lesley McBride, where they recently celebrated their fifth-year wedding anniversary.
Kevin was a Florida State Seminoles fan, Los Angeles Dodger fan and was a number one die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan. Kevin loved cooking ribs and lamb chops for everyone. His smile would make you smile. Kevin Jacobs passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 23, 2024 in Gulfport, MS at the age of 56.
He was preceded in death by Allie Bell Patteson McNair, Lottie Graves Ray Jacobs, Edward Jacobs Sr., aunts, Loretta Caldwell, Della Moore, Almanette Daniels, Malinda Hanks, Genevieve Lawrence, Cynthia McNair, Francine McNair and Brenda McNair, uncles, Theodore Ray, Edward Jacobs, Barney Ray and Terrial McNair.
Kevin leaves the love of his life, his wife: Mrs. Lesley McBride Jacobs of Lyman, MS; three sons: Stephon Wright, Jamil (Skylar) Legier and Brandon Spann all of Gulfport; one sister: Anita Jacobs; two bonus children: Malik Brown of San Antonio, TX and Ananda Brown of Gulfport; aunts: Mary Alice Ainsworth of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Pereedia Billingsley of Ocean Springs, MS, Dinah "DJ" Copeland of Gulfport; Adrienne "Thunderbird" McNair of Gary, IN and Beverly Wilson of Houston, TX; uncles: Albert McNair, Jr., of Seattle, WA; Ludrich "Fat Sam" McNair of Gulfport and Gary McNair of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren: Javion McClain and Jordyn Legier; one nephew: Christopher Jacobs of Gulfport; one great nephew: Cason Jacobs of Gulfport; and a host of other relatives and friends.

I met Kevin at Ft Sill OK. He had just returned from leave and the unit was trying to find a place for him I went to our Commander and ask him to let me have in the communication shop he did and he became a shining star. We also had a unit football team and we were struggling when Primetime came he change our season my QB I love you little bro you will always live in my heart and mind Peace King
