Kevin Robert Keefe, of Marlborough, formerly of Littleton, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Marlborough hospital at the age of 69. He was the loving husband of 43 years of Dorothy (Costa) Keefe.
Born in Lowell on May 30, 1953, Kevin was the son of the late Charles A. and Georgette (Trudel) Keefe. Raised and educated in Littleton, Kevin attended Littleton High School class of 1971. After graduating from High School, Kevin enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country for 6 years and served another 5 years in the Reserves thereafter. By the end of Kevin's service, he had achieved the rank of Staff Sargent. Kevin met Dotty in 1978 while working as a mechanical designer at AARP Industries and quickly became close friends and companions. Kevin and Dotty’s courtship began during their cross-country adventure through the Florida Keys. The two were married soon after on May 20, 1979, at Saint Mary’s Church in Billerica.
A devoted husband and friend, Dotty was Kevin’s greatest joy in life. Kevin specialized in many facets of photography. Founder of Keefe Imagery Inc, Kevin documented hundreds of auto and airshows traveling all across the United States. He also had a passion for scale modeling and nature photography, which inspired him to volunteer as a photographer/videographer at the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge. He loved to birdwatch and photograph the local wildlife and beautiful landscapes. Kevin was an honorable soldier, husband, and dear friend to many. His presence will be missed but his spirit, creativity and love will live on in the memories and the times he cherished.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Dotty (Costa) Keefe of Marlborough. He is also survived by his life-long friend Russell “Buddy” Kimball of Littleton who has been a pillar for Kevin and Dotty through Kevin’s illness. In addition to his parents, Kevin is predeceased by his two brothers, Kippy and Thomas Keefe.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Kevin for a period of visitation on Friday, August 5th, 2022, from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton. Kevin’s funeral will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton.
