Kevin LaPointe Obituary
He was born on April 10, 1954, son of David and Marilyn (Garrow) LaPointe, Jr.
Kevin entered in the United States Army in 1974 and was honorably discharged in 1976.
Kevin loved music, and especially playing the drums in past years. He enjoyed going fishing and watching football, especially his New York Giants. Kevin was a playful kindhearted man who enjoyed teasing others.
Survivors include his sons, Kevin LaPointe and companion Jeannette Rathburn, and Mark LaPointe, as well as Sabrina Canning and her husband David; his siblings, Steven LaPointe, Karen Line, Lisa Allen and her husband Joseph, and Julie Banker and her husband Bob; as well as many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Kevin was predeceased by his parents, and nephew, Eric M. LaCroix.
A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Donations in his memory may be made to the CVPH Foundation in support of those effected by heart disease, kidney disease, and diabetes.
Arrangements have been entrusted to R.W. Walker Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 69 Court Street, Plattsburgh, NY.

Ohh Daddy. Although we knew this day would come, the heart is still never prepared for the enormity of it. I am thankful every single day of my life that you are my daddy. My Padre. Thank you for being the best dad a little girl could have. Thank you for being the most amazing papa to have ever lived. My heart hurts so badly right now, and I don´t know how to handle it. But I´ll be strong daddy, because you taught me that cowgirls don´t cry. Take care of madre up there, having the two of you reunited brings me some measure of peace . I love you Daddy. Yesterday.
