Kevin Peter Major

Kevin Peter Major of Norwalk Connecticut, beloved brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and most of all a faithful friend died on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Kevin's final days were filled with visitors from every corner of his life, and was a powerful testament to the love and admiration of his friends and family.

Born on October 23, 1962, in Yorktown Heights New York, he was the oldest son of the late Jerry Major and Peggy (Carolan) Major. He attended grammar school at Saint Patrick's Catholic School in Yorktown Heights and graduated from Yorktown High School. Kevin was a proud graduate of the Villanova University class of 1984 where he earned a degree in business. He went on to work in the trade market on Wall Street and later had a career as a financial planner.

Kevin had a love for all sports but lacrosse was his passion. He enjoyed inspiring young people to embrace lacrosse and coached for youth leagues. Kevin always had a stick in his car to toss the ball around or play fetch with the many dogs in his life.

He is survived by his sister Maureen Campos and her husband Frank, his brother Michael, his wife Jane (Weber) and their children Katie, Michael, and Jack, and his youngest brother Gerald and his children Patrick, Abigail, and Olivia.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:30am at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church, located at 216 Scribner Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut. A family greeting will be held 30 minutes prior to the funeral mass.
