Susan Bourne Swick

Susan Elizabeth Bourne Swick, 60, beloved wife of 35 years of Robert B. Swick of Norwalk, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 after a courageous battle with ALS. Born June 5, 1965 in Greenwich, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Bourne and Judith Verrier.
She graduated Greenwich High School in the class of 1983 and went on to earn her Secretarial degree at Katharine Gibbs College. She will be remembered fondly as a devoted wife and mother, a doting grandmother (Gigi), and as an avid gardener, crocheter, baker, and beachgoer.
She is survived by her husband Robert of Norwalk and 4 children, Matthew of Stamford, Ryan of San Francisco, CA, Megan and her husband Marcelo of Norwalk, and John of Norwalk; and 3 grandchildren, Emilia, Oliver, and Luca of Norwalk. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Patricia Papeika of Derby, CT and Kathryn Taylor of Mansfield, TX and by 3 nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday 03/25/2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 03/26/2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk. Interment will follow in Queen of Peace Cemetery, 124 Rock Rimmon Road, Stamford, CT.
