Kevin William Marsar, 76, of Washington, New Jersey, passed away on December 11th, 2025, at Hackettstown Hospital.
He was born on March 24th, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Louis Marsar and Mary Marsar, nee Murphy.
Kevin was a graduate of Rider University and worked for many years as an actuary with MetLife Insurance.
Kevin loved to read and had a lifelong passion for collecting coins, stamps, and baseball cards. He especially enjoyed lottery tickets, particularly scratch-offs, and took great pleasure in gifting them to family members on special occasions and holidays.
He was very involved in his grandchildren’s activities. He would attend as many events as possible, if unable he would search the internet to find any information about their activities.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Barbara, and his children, Kristen and her husband, Michael, Donald and his wife, Amy, and Kevin Christopher Marsar. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Lindsay, Christopher, Matthew, and Alexander, as well as his siblings, Gerri Checkon and Sean Marsar and his many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kevin was pre-deceased by his sister, Eileen Manfredi.
It is the family’s wish that all services at this time remain private and under the direction of Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, New Jersey, 07882.
