Kevin Eugene Miller, 69, of Newton, Kansas, passed away on Monday Feb 3rd, 2025. He was born on March 8, 1955, in Bremen, Indiana, to Edward and Velma (Stutzman) Miller.

Kevin graduated from East Noble High School in Kendallville, Indiana. On April 3, 1976, he married Carolyn (Coffman) Miller at Shore Mennonite Church in Shipshewana, Indiana. Together, they built a life filled with love and devotion.

Kevin was a skilled carpenter and worked at Miller’s Home Construction in Middlebury, Indiana. His career also included managing Miller’s Egg Farm and Yoder's IGA store in Shipshewana. Later, he served as an engineer at Jayco RV in Middlebury before becoming the owner of Clean Sweep in Newton, Kansas. Kevin’s dedication to his work reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

A man of faith and service, Kevin was a member of First Mennonite Church and taught Sunday school. He found joy in building furniture, caring for his yard, and spending time with his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren. Known for his kind and caring nature, Kevin had a calming presence and could bring a smile to anyone's face.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carolyn Miller of Newton; his mother Velma Miller of Goshen, Indiana; siblings Brad (Cheryl) Miller of Goshen, Mark Miller of Elkhart, Indiana, MariBeth (Bob) Rhodes of Middlebury, Indiana, and John (Christy) Miller of Goshen; children Jason Miller (Jennifer Souder) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and June (Russell) Entz of Whitewater, Kansas; and grandchildren Liliana and Samuel Souder, Emma and Renee Entz. He was preceded in death by his father Edward R. Miller.

Kevin’s legacy of kindness and love will be cherished by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those he leaves behind. A visitation will be held at First Mennonite Church in Newton, KS., Monday, February 10th, 2025, from 6:00-8:30pm. A celebration of life and remembrance will occur at Frist Mennonite Church Newton, KS., on Tuesday February 11th, 2025, at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Mennonite Church of Newton Kansas.
