It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Moore, beloved father, husband, brother, and friend, who, surrounded by family, peacefully departed this world on May 31, 2024, at the age of 61.
Kevin was born on April 7, 1963, in Dover, Delaware to John and Denise Moore.
Kevin married the love of his life, Marilyn Moore, on September 19, 1987. Together, they built a beautiful life in Delaware, where they raised their two boys: Robbie and Jamie. Kevin's unwavering dedication to his family was evident in everything he did. He was a loving and devoted father who put his children before all else. His witty, warm personality and terrific sense of humor made him a cherished friend to many.
Kevin was a man of many talents and interests. He was an avid Eagles fan, and given his impressive knowledge of the game, the joy and satisfaction football brought him was truly undeniable.
Kevin was an accomplished and respected digital marketing professional and the celebrated co-host of the popular podcast, "The Fantasy Football Guys."
He loved vacationing at the beach each summer. The warm, salty breezes of Ocean City, Maryland made the perfect backdrop for rest, relaxation, and family togetherness. These sun-drenched summer breaks built many sweet memories that will always be treasured.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Marilyn Moore and children Robert Moore and James Moore. He is also survived by his sister, Michelle Davenport and his nephew, Jesse Melvin. His full circle of loved ones included a community of faithful friends and extended family who were touched by his charm and wit.
Kevin was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Denise and Speed Lackhove.
A celebration of Kevin's extraordinary life will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Delaware Saengerbund and Library Association, 49 Salem Church Road, Newark, DE 19713. Marilyn and the boys would love for his friends and family to gather to share stories and favorite memories in his honor. Attendees are encouraged to wear Eagles gear or comfortable, festive summer clothes, as Kevin fully-embraced a beach-casual vibe.
Kevin's kindness, generosity, and love for life will be remembered by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
