Margaret Ann "Ducky" Coverdale Jr.

Margaret "Ducky" Coverdale departed this life on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the age of 61.
Affectionately known as "Ducky" by all who loved her, Margaret was a woman of unshakable faith, bold truth, and fierce love. She was the kind of soul who could uplift your spirit, challenge your thinking, and comfort your heart - all in the same conversation. Her presence was powerful. Her honesty was refreshing. Her love was real.
She received her education through the Capital School District and later pursued a fulfilling career in early childhood education at Millennium Daycare Center, where she poured her heart into guiding young minds until health challenges required her to step back. Ducky had a deep appreciation for the music and message of Tupac and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved father, William A. Trader, and her devoted mother, Margaret Trader.
She leaves cherished memories with her husband, Walter Donnell Coverdale; children, Unique (Tabitha), Donyelle, Donya; grandchildren, Shonique Trader, Unique Trader Jr., Amor'e Trader, Foster Trader Jr., Amillion Trader, Gregory Scott, Beauty Jenkins; siblings, Jeanette Dixon, William T. Trader (her twin), Naik C. Nokes (Warrick Nokes), Demetric Trader (Lorraine Trader); and a host of family and dear friends all of whom were the light of her life and the pride of her heart. As a mother, she was both protector and nurturer - firm when needed, but always filled with grace and laughter.
Her home was a place of refuge, her table always had room for one more, and her prayers stretched across generations. Whether she was preparing a soul-satisfying meal, offering a timely word of encouragement, or lovingly correcting with wisdom, she did it all with intention and heart.
Margaret Ann "Ducky" Coverdale lived her life with strength, conviction, and a deep love for God. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her legacy will continue in the lives of all who were blessed to know her.
