Kevin E. Morrison

Kevin Eugene Morrison was a vivacious, gentle soul born in Galesburg on November 20th, 1953. He was called back Home on Wednesday, October 22nd in the early morning. His parents Betty Jane Morrison (nee Young) and Jack Eugene Morrison were proud to witness his Masters in Divinity as well as his Rosminian Institute of Charity priesthood. As Pastoral Care Chaplain at OSF St. Mary’s Western Region Hospice he touched even more lives, always jolly and full of peace. That role suited him best of all, giving such wonderful comfort and understanding to those throughout the community during their grieving. He embodied Faith, Peace, Hope and never despair -- He will be greatly missed! His life is a source of warmth and light to All.

Survived by the Love of His Life Rose Morrison, his daughters Cathy Curl and Christina Fisher, and his sister Linda, his brother Philip and Patti Morrison (Justin and Katie and family, Jessica and Mike Carroll and family), nieces and nephews Troy and Stacey Morrison and Jennifer Small and Josh Wyatt and family. His sister Patty and brother Mike greeted him in Heaven.

Cremation will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
