Mrs. Ann Morrison

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Frances Ann Morrison, age 83, of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026. Mrs. Morrison was born in Jefferson, Georgia, a daughter to the late Mr. George Edward Willis and the late Frances Pinion Willis Whitlock. Mrs. Morrison was a member of White Plains Baptist Church in Jefferson and was a retired seamstress for Belgrade Manufacturing. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by her grandparents, who helped raise her, George Henry Pinion and Mary Alice Pinion and her step-father, Robert Whitlock.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Oscar Morrison of Jefferson; son, David Morrison of Niceville, FL, daughter, Donna Rogers and her husband Tim of Jefferson; grandchildren, Justin Black, Jordan Morrison and Sarah Beth Todd; eight great grandchildren and her half-sister Martha Tankersly and her husband Mike of Gainesville, also survives.

The Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Page and Rev. Cary Pittman officiating. The burial will follow in the White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery in Jefferson, Georgia.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service, at Evans Funeral Home.
