Kevin Mortenson Obituary

Kevin Mortenson, 60, of Taylor, WI, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse, WI.

Kevin was born on February 10, 1965, in Whitehall, WI. He graduated from Taylor High School and spent many years driving dump truck for Green Leaf Trucking. After a spinal injury in 2001, Kevin adapted to life's changes and continued to find joy in the things he loved most.

Kevin loved the simple things in life - cheering on the Packers, Brewers, Badgers, NASCAR, and of course, the Blair-Taylor Wildcats. He enjoyed John Deere tractors, watching tractor pulls, and collecting antiques. Kevin also loved spending time with friends, sharing stories over cold drinks, and plenty of laughs. But most of all, he cherished time with his two grandsons, who were truly the light of his life.

A celebration of life open house for Kevin will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Taylor Community Center.
