Kevin J. Prag

Kevin J. Prag, 63, of Litchfield NH, passed away peacefully at home with loved ones by his side on December 2, 2020. Born on April 13, 1957 to the late John & Elizabeth (Keller) Prag in West Islip, NY, Kevin would later establish a large and loving family in New Hampshire and would later marry his wife and best friend Cathy Prag. Kevin will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him as kind, humble, laid back, loyal and devoted to his faith, country and community. He was also known for his generosity, as he would gladly give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, and could also fix anything that ever needed fixing. He enjoyed a long career working as a technician for multiple trades, and was always comfortable working with his hands, which were some of the most capable around. Kevin was a truly remarkable man who was beloved by all who knew him. His kind and genuine nature was contagious, as his values for helping others were surely passed on to his children and family. Kevin had a way of making those around him appreciate the little things and slowing down to enjoy life. He loved to garden, camp and adventure with his family in the White Mountains, and generally loved making those around him happy. He was also devoted to his faith throughout his life, and was a true patriot until his last breath. Above all, Kevin loved his family immensely, and will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. Kevin is survived by his loving wife Cathy (Lombardi) Prag; daughter Renee Baylis and her husband Kyle; son Kevin Prag Jr.; son Andrew Prag; brother John Prag and his wife Terry; sister Lizabeth Liers and her husband Eric; 4 grandchildren Leah, Cooper, Aubrie & Eli; goddaughter Amanda, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. A private funeral mass will be held at the neighborhood Church for immediate family in the coming days.
