Kevin Quinlan Obituary

Kevin M. Quinlan, age 54; beloved husband of Michelle L. Quinlan, née Diedenhofen; loving father of Shane (Melanie) and Kayla M. Quinlan; cherished son of Michael R. and the late Marilyn C. Quinlan, née DeLashmutt; brother of Michael (Lee Lamers) Quinlan; fond uncle and friend to many.

A one-time resident of Ireland while working as a marketing executive with Coca-Cola, Kevin was especially appreciative of his time there where he helped launch Fanta, welcomed his first-born child, and maintained a strong Irish heritage. After finally settling in Oak Brook and bringing his daughter into the world, Kevin became a devoted civil servant and was very proud of his tenure as Village President from 2003-2007 and continued advocating for civil duties of citizens across the Village until his passing.

I was on the Oak Brook Police Department when Kevin was Village President. He was instrumental in moving the department forward. Kevin was not only a good President, but a better friend. Marc DeLise

We were so sorry to hear that Kevin had passed. When I did the walk for Kids in Need, Kevin was a great help in assisting the organization. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Quinlan family.
