Kevin Eugene Rassi, 69, of Goshen, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026.
He was born on June 8, 1956, to Leonard and Katherine (Hamman) Rassi.
Kevin shared a loving life with his husband, Harold Shepherd. The two were married on July 3, 2019, in Goshen, celebrating a partnership built on companionship, laughter, and devotion.
He is survived by his husband, Harold Shepherd; his brother, Gary (Juanita) Rassi of Elkhart; his sister-in-law, Gale Rassi of La Porte; and many friends and loved ones who will cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Lamar Rassi.
Kevin worked for many years as an accountant at Johnson Controls and later at Menards in Goshen. He was known for his steady work ethic and reliability.
He found great joy in life’s simple pleasures — tending to his flowers and plants, caring for his garden, and watching the birds in his backyard. Kevin’s gentle spirit, kind heart, and quiet appreciation for nature will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, February 6, at 11 a.m. at Violett Cemetery.
