Kevin R. Seibert, 61, of rural Parsons, passed away at his home the night of Tuesday, November 18, 2025, after a tough, courageous battle with cancer.
Kevin Ray Seibert was born on April 3, 1964, to Ernest James and Carol June (Castle) Seibert in Parsons, Kansas. He grew up and attended school in Parsons, graduating from Labette County High School in 1983.
For 10 years, Kevin worked at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant. He worked the last 33 years at CST.
His greatest joy came from spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and fishing while creating many memories with family and friends. Watching the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs were also a favorite pastime.
On May 6, 1988, Kevin and Sherry Ann Vitt were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Parsons. She survives of the home.

One son – Hunter Seibert and his wife, Addison, of Parsons, Kansas
Two daughters – Shayla Hibbert and her husband, Zach, of Cimarron, Kansas
Baylea Kimbel and her husband, Braden, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas
Nine grandchildren – Maddox, Aralyn, Zander, Kase, Kallen, Kaulder, Rynnick, Kord and Bentlea
His mother - Carol Pilkington of Parsons, Kansas
One sister – Kimberly Brader of Parsons, Kansas
His mother-in-law – Judy Vitt of Parsons, Kansas
His loyal chocolate lab – Hooey James
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Seibert; and his father-in-law, Jim Vitt.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. There will be a private family inurnment at Valley Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to Labette County Relay For Life. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
