Kevin D. Skidmore, 72, of Belle Center, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lima, Ohio on November 4, 1952, to the late Wayne and Charlene (Dreitzler) Skidmore. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia “Cindy” Shepherd.
On February 14, 1996, he married Gloria (Mohn) Skidmore, and she survives.
He is also survived by his children: Kayla (Isaac) Smith and their daughter, Eleanor; and Tyler (Baylee) Skidmore and their daughters: Stella and Halle, with a son on the way; his brother, Greg (Diana) Skidmore; brother-in-law, Lance Shepherd; and many nieces and nephews.
Kevin was a lifelong farmer, a former McDonald Township Trustee, and member of the Hardin County Pork Producers. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and his family was his pride and joy.
Kevin’s wish was to be cremated and there will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
