Kevin Raymond Slivka, 60, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, passed away at home on October 9, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, and his presence will be deeply missed. Born in Bethlehem to the late Peter Slivka Jr., and Virginia (McGinley) Slivka of Bethlehem, PA, Kevin stayed close to home as he fostered his own culinary education and career. He closed his culinary career at the level of executive chef before choosing a new direction professionally and became the graphic designer at Gypsy Rose in Warminster, PA. An avid outdoorsman, Kevin enjoyed biking, fishing, and bow hunting. He looked forward to hunting season every year, especially the weekends he attended camp with his family and friends. Fishing trips with his beloved wife, Rita, were another relished pastime during the 34 years they were together. Kevin was also a lover of live music. Over the years he attended many festivals and concerts, and spent a lot of those years savoring the music by taping shows for his and others' enjoyment. A life-long Penn State football fan, Kevin happily indulged in tailgating and going to games while his daughter, Ashley, attended the university for her undergraduate studies. Kevin loved traveling with his wife and daughter. Whether it was across the country or another trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth", adventure and exploration were never lacking in his life.
He will be lovingly remembered by his, wife Rita Harrison, daughter, Ashley Slivka, mother, Virginia Slivka, sister, Gail Broczkowski and husband Edward, niece, Brooke Broczkowski, and a nephew, Brett Broczkowski and wife Rachel.
