Kevin W. Smith, 64, of Fostoria, passed away at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, Wednesday, February 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on February 5, 1962, in Findlay, to Lloyd W. and Barbara M. (Bryan) Smith. Kevin married Lynda L. Clark on March 23, 2001, and she survives.
He loved his family deeply and cherished the time spent with them. He valued his furry friends and found comfort in their companionship. He cared greatly for his work family and clients who he remained devoted to, and they helped keep him going. Kevin enjoyed music, relaxing on the deck, and had recently taken up golfing as a new hobby when he was able. He especially looked forward to warmer weather, and he was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Detroit Tigers.
In addition to his loving wife Lynda, those left behind to cherish Kevin’s memory are his son, Ian B. Smith; stepsons, Jaden Thomas and Bryce LaRoche. He was a proud grandfather to Ivy, Nova, Kehlani, Kaden, and Kynsleigh. He is also survived by his sister, Kathy Fouty; his brother, Mike (Casey) Smith; and his nieces, Sarah and Serenity Smith.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara; his father, Lloyd; and his niece, Tiffany Schuck; and his grandparents, Floyd and Velma (Wadsworth) Bryan.
