He grew up in Blue Grass, IA, started school in Buffalo, IA and graduated in 1986 from West High School in Davenport, IA. After high school, he attended Iowa State University in Ames, IA.
Kevin had a great love of animals, and they were an important part of his life. Kevin loved to travel and has the honor of visiting all seven continents.
Kevin was working at Amco in Ames at the time of his death. He passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 at his home south of Ellsworth, IA.
Those remaining to cherish his memory include his parents Ralph and Nancy Stalder of Blue Grass, IA; two brothers Gary (Jennifer) of Humbolt, KS and Doug (Andrea) of Durant, IA; one sister Wendy (Kenny) O'Donnell of Blue Grass, IA; four nieces and two nephews; along with other relatives and friends.
A location and date for a memorial service are still pending a decision from the family.
