Kevin Thomas Jr. Obituary
A celebration of life for Kevin “Lee” Thomas Jr., age 39, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Pilgrims Community Center in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
Lee was born on October 11, 1986, in St. Petersburg, Florida to Kevin Lee Thomas Sr. and Laura (Dienstbier) Thomas. Lee graduated from Lewisville High School in 2006, and he served in the Navy the same year. He worked at Valero gas station as a cashier.
Lee is survived by his father, Kevin Lee Thomas Sr., his mother, Laura Thomas, his brother, Paul Thomas and wife, Sarah, his sister, Marissa Thomas, his nieces and nephew; Emma Grace, Lily Rose, Mary Jean Mitten and Waylyn James Mitten, his aunts; Kathy Dienstbier, Debbie Dienstbier, Ann Marie Thomas, and Penny Thomas, his uncle, Joseph Schmaltz and partner, Mona.
He was preceded in death by his grammy, Mary Dienstbier, his grandma, Jean Soar, his uncle, James Thomas, his grandfathers; Paul Dienstbier and Doug Thomas, and his great-uncle, George Soar.
Lee loved Dungeons and Dragons and the Walking Dead series. He was proud of his Viking heritage.
