Kevin Truitt Obituary
Kevin was raised in Seaford, DE and attended Seaford High School where he was a standout athlete in Baseball, Football and Basketball. He also played in Delaware's Blue- Gold Football game. After school, Kevin followed in his father's footsteps and became a union Millwright until retiring. He lived on the family farm in the house his grandparents had originally purchased. Kevin took great pride in his garden and spent many hours nurturing his plants and enjoyed seeing how much he could produce each year.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Carl Edward Truitt. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Kraft Truitt and his two brothers: Keith Truitt (Sandy) and Tracy Truitt (Bobbi).
A Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on January 3rd, 2026, at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, 609 E. King St, Seaford, DE 19973, with a visitation beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Seaford, DE.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Nanticoke Little League, 101 Little League Drive, Seaford, DE 19973. [email protected].
