Kevin John Whalen, born on June 25, 1959, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at the age of 66 on October 7, 2025, at Dresher Hill, Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
Kevin was a dedicated CDL truck driver, whose career spanned several industries. His work ethic and commitment to driving were well-regarded by all who had the pleasure of working alongside him.
Outside of his work, Kevin was an avid fan of golf and enjoyed playing pool. Kevin found joy in the great outdoors. He loved his campground down the shore, where he often spent time relaxing and enjoying nature.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen Whalen; his parents, John and Alice Whalen; his brother, George Schlacter; and his longtime companion, Felicita Carrera. Kevin leaves behind a loving family, including his sister, Patricia Leber; sister-in-law, Carol Schlacter; and his nieces and nephews and great nephews, Christian and Jude, who will lovingly remember him.
In accordance with Kevin's wishes, a private ceremony will be held by his family.
His family and friends will cherish the memories of a life marked by quiet strength and a love for the simple pleasures of life. Kevin will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
