Kevin Williams, a beloved man, passed away on October 17, 2025, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 69. Born in San Antonio, Texas, Kevin was a dedicated brother, father, and grandfather, and an avid supporter of Texas Tech Athletics, as well as a passionate history enthusiast.
Kevin earned a Juris Prudence degree in law, showcasing his commitment to education and his profession. His legal expertise was unmatched, and he served as a respected member of his community, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer guidance to those in need.
He leaves behind two sons, Jeffrey Williams and Todd Williams, who were both sources of immense pride for him. His Granddaughter, Sofia Williams, who brought him more joy than anyone. His sister, Alana Gipson, also cherishes the memories they created together throughout their lives. Kevin’s family will deeply miss his wisdom and compassion.
Preceding him in death are his beloved parents, Henry and Dorothy Williams, who instilled in him the values he carried throughout his life.
A memorial service to celebrate Kevin's life will be held on October 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Combest Family Funeral Home Venue on Broadway 2202 Broadway, Lubbock, TX 79401. The family invites all those who knew Kevin to come together to honor his memory and share their stories and experiences. His legacy will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
