THOMASVILLE - Keyton Wayne Roach, 77, died Friday, April 11, 2025, the Hospice Home at High Point.
Wayne was born March 20, 1948, in High Point and was the son of the late Keyton and Modie Jane Parks Roach. Wayne was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from High Point Regional Hospital following twenty years of service in Maintenance. Following retirement, he later worked with Winston-Salem State University lock and key unit for several years. He loved grilling and enjoyed spending time feeding his family and friends. Wayne passionately loved bass fishing and also spent many hours making barrels with precision for turkey shoot. Wayne was a consummate jokester who telling jokes and providing laughter to those around.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Debra "Debbie" Bowman Roach.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Beverly Meinen Roach, whom he married in February 2020; sister, Renee Little (David) of High Point; brother, Richard Roach of Greensboro; two stepsons, Matt Kravontka (Devon) of Thomasville and Mark Kravontka (Chantel) of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; eight step grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service celebrating Wayne's life will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service with Pastor Scott Sellers officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:45 AM-12:45 PM Wednesday at the funeral prior to the service.
