Khuu Nai Giam

Khuu Nai Giam, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, after a period of declining health. He was 72 years old.

Born on February 16, 1954, in Soc Trang, Vietnam, to parents Khuu Thanh and Huynh Thi Day, Giam was the second oldest of four children. He grew up in his homeland and served honorably in the South Vietnamese Army. He spent 70 years in Vietnam before immigrating to the United States, where he resided for the last 22 months of his life.

Giam was a man of quiet passions and deep family devotion. He found joy in music, reading, learning English in his later years, and above all, spending time with his family, whose love and presence brought him the greatest happiness.

His oldest brother, Khuu Phan Kien, passed away in San Jose, California, in 2020. His younger sister passed away in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2021. He is survived by his youngest brother, Khuu Duoc Tho (who lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife Nguyen Mong Thanh); his devoted daughter, Co Khuu; his favorite son-in-law, David Le; his cherished grandchildren, Zandor Le, Caroline Le, and Zabrina Le; and his nieces and nephews, Phi Phi Vo, Phan Huynh, Tho Huynh, Hang Khuu, Thien Khuu, and Nhan Khuu.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the Thoracic ICU Medical staff at Intermountain Medical Center for their compassionate care, dedication, and wonderful support during Giam's hospital stay.

Giam's gentle spirit, love of learning, and unwavering family bonds will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
