Ki Jung Obituary
Ki Bok Jung of Hobbs passed away on September 26,2025 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, Tx surrounded by her family. She was born in Seoul, South Korea to Keun Sung Kim and Sam Ik Kim on January 1,1941.
Ki Bok immigrated to the United States in 1980 and became a US citizen on November 9, 1995. She was a devoted wife who worked alongside her husband for over 35 years at their upholstery business. She was a loving, generous, and kind Mother to a son (Ji Jung), and Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Although she didn't speak much of the English language, her smile welcomed any conversation.
Ki Bok Jung is survived by her husband Man Hoon Jung, her sisters Oak Hee Lee of Korea, Young Ja Kim Lawson and husband John Lawson of Hobbs, NM, her brothers Ki Young Kim of Columbia Maryland, Ki Sun Kim and his wife Soon Ja Kim of Hobbs, NM and many nieces and nephews and also great nieces and great nephews.
Ki Bok Jung was preceded in death by her father Keun Sung Kim, her mother Sam Ik Kim and her son Ji Jung, and a sister Jung Yuel Park.
