Kieran Douglas

Kieran Douglas, 6 years old, of Hattiesburg, MS, passed away on October 31 st, 2025.
Kieran was born on March 13th, 2019 in Hattiesburg, the daughter of Jessica Gardner Douglas
and Grant Douglas.
She was in 1st Grade at Oak Grove Elementary where she loved walking to class with her sister,
Avery, and seeing her friends. She loved her family so much, and wanted to do everything just
like her sister.
Kieran made more of an impact on the world in her 6 years of life than many people will reach in
a lifetime. She was full of joy and love. Her smile would light up any room. Kieran cared for
others, would pat their back and console them to make sure they were ok, and gave hugs that
were strong and impactful. She was smart and strong-willed, knew what she wanted, and
expected others would follow suit. When she ordered chicken, fries, ketchup, sip-sip, and a
show, you better hop to it. Her love for singing and dancing was contagious and those around
her would happily join in. She loved going to church, taking care of her baby dolls, watching silly
shows, playing outside, climbing, jump-jumping, and running. Anyone who knows Kieran knows
that she is a runner. A fast runner who will leave you in the dust in a heartbeat. On October 31st,
she ran her best run ever, straight into the arms of Jesus.
Family
Kieran is survived by her parents, Grant and Jessica Douglas; her sister, Avery Douglas; her
maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Judi Gardner; her paternal grandparents, David and Janice
Douglas; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Service Information
Visitation will be held on November 8th, 2025 from 10 am – 12 pm, with a Memorial service at 12
pm, and a graveside service immediately following. All services will be held at Pinehaven
Funeral Home: 103 Sullivan Kilrain Rd, Hattiesburg, MS 39402.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Children's of Mississippi –
University of Mississippi Medical Center, and The Children's Center for Communication and
Development – The University of Southern Mississippi.
