Scott Lee Mauck, 63 of Poplarville, MS passed unexpectedly on October 2nd 2025.
Born to Edward and Marilyne Mauck on December 26th 1961, in California. He spent his early years playing on the beach, later moving to Ohio. In his early adult years he hitchhiked across the country to California and ended in Mississippi where he worked as a ride operator for a local carnival, meeting the love of his life, Terri. The couple moved back to Ohio in 1986. Scott worked as a union carpenter for nearly 25 years making many lifelong friends. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Scott enjoyed camping, boating and *gardening*. You could always find him sitting around a fire listening to music with an ice cold beer in his hand. The couple started a family and lived in Ohio for 28 years. In 2014 they moved back to Mississippi where he lived out the remainder of his life.
Scott is preceded in death by his mother Marilyne, Leeann and father Edward. Grandparents George and Doris.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Terri. Children Marisa (James) and Ian. Grandchildren James, Briana and Gracie. Siblings Dennise (William), Charles (Tammy), Angel (Jimmie), Ed and Micky (Mel). Many nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered for his sarcasm and unwavering ability to make everyone around him laugh. A loyal friend and the best father and husband.
No services will be held. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
