Stacy Dean Britt, Jr. November 27, 1986- September 14, 2025 Stacy Dean Britt, Jr., age 38, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 14, 2025. Born on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 1986, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Stacy was the son of Stacy Britt, Sr. and Lisa Lott. He graduated from Forrest County Agricultural High School in 2005 and later earned a degree in machine operations from Pearl River Community College. Following graduation, Stacy served at Camp Shelby as both a National Guardsman and a Mississippi state employee. A devoted father, Stacy cherished his two children, Bowen and Emma Britt. He was a lifelong fan of the New Orleans Saints and Georgia football team, and he will be remembered for his warm personality, infectious laughter, and ability to make friends with anyone and everyone he met. Stacy is survived by his father, Stacy Britt Sr.; his mother, Lisa Lott (Greg); his brother, Caleb Lott (Abi); his children, Bowen and Emma Britt; his grandmother, Elizabeth Morris; his grandfather, Sherman Lott; and his significant other, Ashley Cloy, and many other loving family members. Services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Dixie Baptist Church. A private family visitation will begin at 9:45 a.m., public visitation will follow from 10–11 a.m., with a Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m.
