Travis Mack Boquet Sr., born October 2, 1976, went to his heavenly home on September 16, 2025. He is deeply loved and will be missed by his wife, Tina Boquet, whom he proudly protected for 29 years; his two sons, Joshua Smith (Alyson) of Poplarville and Travis Boquet Jr. of Lumberton; his mother, Mrs. Judy Boquet; his father, Mr. Alivn Boquet Sr.; his brothers, Alvin Boquet Jr. of Lumberton, Adam Boquet (Missy) of Lumberton, and Tyrone Boquet (Gina) of Lumberton; his sisters, Tammy Merritt of Lumberton and Louise Boquet of Lumberton; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and his beloved dog Gypsy. There are no words that can truly capture who Travis Boquet was or the impact he had on the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered as a gentle giant, a proud husband, and a devoted father to his sons. His son, TJ, wanted it noted that; He was the best Dad that anyone could ever have." Travis was a man of few words, yet his presence was strong, steady, and deeply felt. A faithful Christian, he was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Lumberton. He was truly a man among men. He was known as one of the hardest workers, serving as a truck driver and operator for the Lamar County Road Department. Beyond his work, Travis had a passion for cooking, with crawfish being his specialty. He also loved animals, racing, and trucks. Always approaching life with the same energy, dedication, and heart that touched everyone around him. To know Travis Boquet was to love him, His memory will be strongly cherished by all who knew him. His Services will be held Saturday, September 20th, at The First Baptist Church of Lumberton. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, with the service starting at 2:00 PM.
