Terry Lawrence Boquet

Terry Lawrence Boquet, 70, born October 20, 1954 a native of Bourg, Louisiana and resident of Chauvin, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ethelyn Wanda Boquet; daughter, Amee' Boquet (Hunter); son, Terry Boquet Jr. (Victoria); grandchildren, Aubrey Tieken and Aiden Boquet; siblings, Libby Darnell, Marilyn Authement (Murray), Myra Moorman, Donald Boquet (Becky), Gene Boquet (Kaye), Ferdinand "Butch" Boquet (Charlene), and Stephen Boquet (Laura); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferdinand and Irene Boquet.
Terry worked as a machinist for 40 years in the oil field. When not working, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and he especially loved crabbing. He loved the outdoors. He also loved spending time at the casino. Most important to him was his family and helping others. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
A memorial visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday February 1, 2025 at St. Ann in Bourg, Louisiana from 9:00 AM until the memorial service at 11:00 AM.
The family would like to thank the doctors at the Haydel Clinic, Terrebonne General Health System CCU (5th floor) and staff, and the staff of Haydel Memorial Hospice.
